How do I say Happy New Year when I know we have only one week to opening school and the teachers do not have a staff room? Is it really going to be a happy new year to them?
I spent a good time between December 26, 2012 and January 5, 2013 working on the staff room. It is an annex to the church hall, well lit and ventilated. The carpentry skills I learned from my dad are all intact. In fact; I add more skills as I grow older! All I need is the right tool and appropriate materials and the job will be done to perfection. In this case, most of the materials I used are recycled, with a few meters of lumber from the timber yard. The room is now equipped with four tables and plastic chairs. The shelves I am working on here, as you can see, also serve as a dividing wall that separates the general staff room and a smaller one for the Deputy Head Teacher. 
The inner office is the deputy's. He has the top shelves on his side. The lower side serves the other members of the teaching staff.
Next time you come to the Lampros Educational Center or to Kayole Church of Christ, please ask to see the shelves that Nyabuto Marube made for the teachers.
Did you notice a socket at the picture on the top left? It is a small white spot near my left hand armpit. I installed that as well.
